Changed your card machine? You don't need to replace the whole stand. Our payment terminal backplates are bespoke steel plates for Ingenico, Verifone, PAX and Miura terminals. Fit the new plate onto your existing pole and your new terminal is ready to take payments.

Each backplate has a hole pattern that fits Countermatic stands as well as SpacePole, Yudigar and other manufacturers' mounts. All plates are made from high-quality steel in the European Union.

Change your payment terminal, keep your stand

Payment providers replace terminals regularly, and every new model has a different shape. Buying a complete new stand each time means paying again for the pole and base, and fixing it to the counter again. A replacement backplate is the only part that needs to change.

  • Lower cost: you pay only for the plate made for your new terminal, not for a complete mount.
  • No new installation: the pole stays fixed to the counter, with the cables still routed inside it.
  • The same look across every till: mix terminal brands without changing your checkout layout.

Backplates by brand: Ingenico, Verifone, PAX and Miura

Each payment terminal backplate is made for a specific model or family of terminals. Choose your brand to see every available plate:

Compatible with Countermatic, SpacePole, Yudigar and other stands

You don't need a Countermatic pole to use our backplates. The hole pattern is designed to fit our own stands as well as SpacePole, Yudigar and other common payment terminal mounts. If you already have poles installed across several tills, you can update them all for your new terminals by changing only the plates.

Not sure whether a plate will fit your current stand? Send us a photo of the top of your pole and the name of your terminal, and we will confirm before you order.

How to choose the right backplate

  • Identify your terminal: check the exact model on the label on the back of the device, for example Verifone P400 or Ingenico Lane 5000.
  • Check your current stand: make a note of the brand of your pole, or send us a photo if you don't know it.
  • Decide if you want a handle: some plates include a handle for turning and tilting the terminal without touching the device.

Need a complete stand instead?

If you are equipping a new checkout, a complete stand with pole, base and backplate is the simplest option. See our Ingenico terminal stands, Verifone payment terminal stands, PAX payment terminal stands, Miura pinpad stands and universal stands, or browse all our payment terminal stands. For wall installations, see our wall mounts for payment terminals. For a terminal model not listed here, contact us about a custom bracket.
