Once the count has been completed, the value and number of coins counted per denomination and the total euro value are displayed on the screen. The Pelican 309 has a add function and a batch function.
The add function means that when more coins are placed in the machine, the value of the previous count is maintained and the value of the new coins is added to the previous count. The batch function consists of stopping the count at a precise point chosen by the user. Apart from these two functions the machine has a large number of different and programmable counts and reports available.
