New $10 bill

The Central Bank of the Bahamas has launched a new version of the $10 bill. This new version bears the engraved portrait of Sir Stafford Sands, current Minister of Finance and leader of the Bahamian economy.

This new version replaces the first one launched in the country in 2005, with the CRISP (Counterfeit Resistant Integrated Security Product) security features.

This new $10 bill is the first to be redesigned after incorporating the CRISP security features.

With the exception of the $100 bill, all other denominations bear engraved portraits typical of the Bahamas.

Countermatic has developed the software to authenticate the bills issued in the Bahamas.
